Mallory Wins Middle-Distance Cross Country Title at U.S. Nationals

HOUGHTON, Mich. - The 2007 U.S. Disabled Cross Country Championships continued Thursday from the Michigan Tech University trails with Greg Mallory (Portland, Ore.) taking the men's sitting 6K race.

Mallory's time of 23:02 over the wooded course was enough to hold off Andy Soule (Sun Valley, Idaho) and Sean Halsted (Gig Harbor, Wash.), who finished third for the second consecutive day.

Races continue Saturday with a sit-ski sprint.
