UCO Sitting Volleyball World Challenge Postponed

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Central Oklahoma's Sitting Volleyball World Challenge, originally scheduled for this weekend, has been postponed. The event will be re-scheduled, and usparalympics.org will have the information as soon as it is available.

The competition was originally slated to feature the men's sitting volleyball teams from the U.S., Bosnia and Mongolia. The U.S. finished ninth at this summer's Sitting Volleyball World Championships, while Bosnia came away as the gold medalist. Mongolia was not part of the 12-team field.

Bosnia was forced to withdraw from the event last week, but plans were moving along for a two-team competition before the Mongolian team was forced to withdraw, as well.
