Leibovitz wins three medals (two gold) at U.S. Paralympics Table Tennis Championships

LAS VEGAS - Tahl Leibovitz (Ozone Park, N.Y.) won two individual gold medals and one team bronze medal at the U.S. Paralympics Table Tennis Championships, held Dec. 13-18 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev.

The U.S. won five medals at the event (two gold, one silver and two bronze), which featured more than 130 competitors from 22 countries.

Leibovitz won the Class 9 and Open Standing championships and won the bronze in the Class 9-10 Team Division with Mitch Seidenfeld (Lakeville, Minn.).

Norm Bass (Inglewood, Calif.) won the lone silver medal for the U.S. with his performance in the Class 7 Division.

Bob Bowlander (Waco, Ga.) and Dave Skrzypek won the bronze medal in the Class 8 competition.
