“Other than school, shooting is my job. It’s a job that I love, but I am continuously building toward 2004 and the future. During school, I’m going almost non-stop from the time I wake up until I go to bed. Depending on my class schedule, I go to class for two to four hours a day, do homework, shoot for two to four hours, then usually spend one to two hours physically training. This really doesn’t leave a whole lot of time for socializing or doing things that normal college students do. Because of shooting, I have had to make many sacrifices. I played baseball for seven years and I had to give it up to concentrate on shooting. I don’t get to see my family very often because I’m at school, on a shooting trip or at my summer training venue. This is not to say that shooting is some sort of leech for me – I really love what I do!”
