Carolyn Treacy
- Qualified for the 2006 Olympics Games in biathlon
- Captured the final competition of the combined 2003 World University Games / World Junior Biathlon Championships Trials
- Three fourth-place finishes in the 2002 Europa Cup competitions
- She and the Barnes twins teamed up in 2002 to win the first ever U.S. relay medal at the Junior World Championships when they took the silver medal behind Germany and ahead of Russia.
- Known as a steady shooter which helped her become a silver medalist in the Relay at the 2002 Youth and Junior Biathlon World Championships
- Earned 6th place in 2004 US Cross-country Nationals
- Placed 16th at the BWJC Sprint in 2000
- Competed on a limited basis the past two seasons as she focused on her education from Dartmouth
- Will earn a degree in sociology and minor in biology in June, 2006
- Trained with the Dartmouth Nordic ski team during in the summer of 2005
- She has worked with the Maine Winter Sports Center team, the U.S. National Guard team and 2002 Olympian Rachel Steer
- Enjoys spending her free time swimming or with family and friends
- She is engaged to be married in July, 2006

On making the 2006 Olympics: "I've been in biathlon for eight years and this has been my final goal. I'll finish school this year and I'm getting married this summer, so I knew there wouldn't be many more chances."
