- Earned silver in ice dancing at the 2005 U.S. Figure Skating Championships with partner and wife, Melissa Gregory
- Placed second at 2005 Four Continents Championships
- Bronze medalist at 2005 Skate Canada
- Captured 11th at the 2005 World Championships
- Earned two bronze and two silver medals at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships from 2002-2005
- Competed in 2005 Cup of Russia and placed 4th
- She and Denis created their own blades with M&D Diamond blades in 2004. The blades have two curved edges on the heel in 2004
- Began skating at the age of 8
- Placed an ad online in 2000 for an ice dancing partner which Melissa Gregory answered. They knew right away it was a match, and shortly thereafter fell in love.
- Married Melissa the following year (2001)
- They collect hats wherever they travel
- Originally from Russia, but came to the U.S. to dance with Melissa. Denis then became an American citizen on Feb. 22, 2005
- Teamed up with Habitat for Humanity and helped build houses for victims of Hurricane Katrina
