"Everyone knows she's kind of clumsy!,” Tara said of her 2004 Olympic teammate, sister Dana. “People expect us to be very similar, but we are, in reality, very different. She's more outgoing. She wants to be a reporter on the Best Damn Sports Show Period. She wants to interview the players, go in the locker rooms. She'll do well, I'm sure."
On Stanford being ‘fun’: "We have really great athletes who want to be great in academics as well. You recruit people who want to be excellent in both. You have to want to come here for an education, and you can't be an athlete forever, so it's a good program all the way around…I think that it's a lot more fun than people think it is. Stanford is known for its academics and for being a 'smart' school, but the people here are fun, not just a bunch of nerds!"
