Caruso began shooting on a whim when she accompanied her older sister to a practice at the Police Athletic League as just an 11-year-old. Since then the sport has become engrained in her lifestyle. She currently trains five days a week for up to five hours, and also runs and lifts in a physical training program. She said she never plans on quitting and hopes to be involved in the sport at some level for as long as possible, whether competing or coaching.
