U.S. Flag Raising Ceremony July 11

The U.S. Flag will be raised tomorrow, Wednesday, July 11, at 5:00 p.m. (local) in the 2007 Pan American Games Athlete Village in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The flag raising ceremony will be held in the International Zone of the Athlete Village.
The following teams have checked into the Athlete Village for Team USA:
Badminton (Men and Women)
Fencing (Men and Women)
Field Hockey (Men and Women)
Gymnastics (Men)
Soccer (Men and Women)
Squash (Men and Women)
Taekwondo (Men and Women)
Also attending the flag raising ceremony will be Jim Scherr, CEO of the United States Olympic Committee, and Manuel A. Laborde, the Chef de Mission for the 2007 U.S. Pan American Games Team.
